Outreach

Throughout the year Christ Church is involved with numerous outreach programs. While we focus on a few areas of outreach on a regular basis, we always encourage new opportunities as the Holy Spirit inspires! Some of the areas our community focuses on include:

Adopt-A-Family 2005

This Christmas season there will be three families in Redondo Beach who will
experience what we at Christ Church experience all year long, the support and love
of a caring community. I was asked this year to drop the gifts off at the halfway house and got to meet our families. The first words from them as I entered was “ God bless you, God bless you all, thank you all so much”. One day at a time, one family at a time,thank you all for your generous hearts, Terri Watamanuk

Corazón
Volunteers join with the non-profit Orange County group who have been building homes in the Tijuana area for the poorest of poor for 25 years. We also sponsor children for school and teach projects so these families can survive after we build them shelter.

Shared Bread
We support the local Methodist Church by providing the entrée 5 times a year for the 125-150 homeless and needy families in our community.

Casa de los Amigos
Christ Church sponsors this HUD-subsidized low-income senior housing project in Redondo Beach. Board members are appointed by the Vestry of Christ Church.
