Home and Hospital Visits I would like to visit you if you are in the hospital or confined to your home for an extended period of time. If you know you are going to be hospitalized for a surgery or treatment, please give me a call on my cell phone at 310 613-5146. | What to Expect If I come to visit you, I will offer prayers with you and your family. If you want to receive Holy Communion and your condition does not prevent it, I will bring already consecrated wafers with me for you and anyone with whom you would like to share this time of communion. I will also bring you a small booklet of prayers for your use during your stay in the hospital and during your convalescence. If you are unable to attend church on a regular basis, we can arrange for communion to be brought to you either by me or by one of our lay Eucharistic Ministers. Finally, I know that there are many people who do not want to have their priest come and visit them under such circumstances. We would be honored to pray for you even if you do not wish to be visited. I understand and respect such decisions. |
